Privacy notice
This notice explains how your personal data is processed on kimmerlabs.com and when you write to us, under Article 10 of the Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).

This notice covers the website and the messages you send us. Data that our customers keep in the Kimmer applications is governed by the contract with each customer.
What we process
- When you fill in the contact form or write to us by e-mail or WhatsApp: your name, organisation, e-mail address, phone number if you give one, the application you are interested in and the content of your message. With the form, the IP address and browser details it was sent from also reach us, to prevent misuse.
- When you visit the site, technical records kept for the site to work and stay secure: IP address, browser and device information, the page requested and the time of the request.
- For visitor statistics, without identifying you: the page viewed, the page you came from, browser and device type, country and how long the page took to load.
Visitor statistics are kept with a measurement that uses no cookies and does not identify visitors; there are no advertising or tracking tools. For cookies, see the cookie notice.
Purposes
- To answer your demo licence and information requests, open your demo licence and contact you about your request.
- To keep the site secure and prevent its misuse.
- To measure how the site is used and how fast it loads.
- To meet our legal obligations and protect our rights in a dispute.
Legal grounds
- For a demo licence request: processing directly related to entering into a contract (KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)).
- For answering information requests, site security and visitor statistics: our legitimate interest, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (Art. 5(2)(f)).
- For obligations under the law: processing expressly provided for by law and needed to meet our legal obligations (Art. 5(2)(a) and (ç)).
- In a dispute: establishing, exercising or protecting a right (Art. 5(2)(e)).
How it is collected
You provide your contact details and message yourself, through the contact form, e-mail or WhatsApp. Technical records are created automatically while you visit the site. All of it is collected electronically.
Who receives it
- The hosting and content delivery provider we use to publish and protect the site and to keep its visitor statistics.
- The e-mail delivery provider that brings form messages to us.
- Public authorities entitled by law, when they request it.
These providers may keep their servers outside Türkiye; in that case your data is transferred abroad in line with Article 9 of the Law. Your data is not sold and is not shared for advertising.
How long it is kept
Your data is kept as long as needed to answer your request and for the limitation periods set by the applicable law; after that it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK you have the right:
- to learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, to request information about it;
- to learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used for that purpose;
- to know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred;
- to ask for it to be corrected if it is incomplete or wrong;
- to ask for it to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions of Article 7;
- to ask for corrections, deletions and destructions to be notified to the third parties who received the data;
- to object to a result against you that arises only from automated analysis of the data;
- to claim compensation if you suffer damage because the data was processed unlawfully.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights given by the data protection law that applies to you, including the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
How to apply
Send your application in writing to our registered office, or to info@kimmerlabs.com from the e-mail address we hold for you. We answer within 30 days at the latest, free of charge; if the request involves a separate cost, the fee set by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
